Alternative Services for Google Reader

Its July 1. Google Reader is retiring today. It has been a great product which helped a lot of people especially for beginners like me to keep me posted about stuffs. But its time and the big question is Alternatives? Yeah! There are a lot of alternatives begin developed over past few months. Still a lot of them are in BETA stage. Only few have come out working.

Feedly
Feedly Reader Alternative for Google Reader

Its a great alternative for Google Reader. With one click all the content sources and stuffs from Google Reader can be imported into feedly reader. It keeps track the read and unread, have options to store a post and read later. The user interface is smooth and provide different options for viewing feeds. Its easily customizable. Even it supports different themes to please the readers. Feedly is a good alternative for Google Reader.

Digg
Digg Reader is simple in look but powerful like Google Reader in functionality. It provides all the features that feedly provides except different view options and themes. Yet the interface is simple and powerful. With Digg we can link to 3 different mobile apps Pocket, Readability, Instapaper. Any saved article will be reflected in the linked account of Pocket, Readability, Instapaper which helps the users read the posts on the go. Digg reader is the best alternative for Google Reader.
